A training workshop on preparing the 1447H annual plan for Khadir District was held on Tuesday in Taiz province, organized by the Planning Sector of the province.
The workshop aimed to equip 25 trainees with the skills needed to develop the district’s 1447H plan, covering stages, timelines, and training models. This included diagnosing the current state of local development through capacity-building and engaging stakeholders in the planning process, culminating in procedural steps and the preparation of district-level models in accordance with the plan’s executive mechanism.
During the opening session, Khadir District Director Fares Al-Jaradi emphasized the workshop’s importance in formulating a clear vision for the plan. He noted that planning is a fundamental pillar of developmental work, necessitating improved performance and enhanced institutional efficiency.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Washli, Head of the Planning Sector in the governorate, stressed the local authority’s commitment to implementing specialized training programs that meet the needs of various sectors in Taiz and contribute to developing administrative, technical, and professional skills.
He highlighted the importance of prioritizing district-level projects to attract partners for implementation, explaining that the workshop’s goal was to establish a timeline for updating developmental reports and the executive mechanism for preparing the 1447H annual plan.
