The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inspected the progress of work in the Public Electricity Corporation in the region and was briefed on the electricity situation and plans to develop the sector.
The Director General of the region, Eng. Ghamdan Al-Khulaidi explained the efforts exerted to improve the work of the stations, establish a diesel-powered ambulance station, and reduce electrical losses despite the challenges and difficulties.
Al-Masawi stressed the need to integrate efforts to enhance electricity services and reduce outages, which were recently affected by the Zionist aggression on power stations in Sana'a.
He also visited the electrical conversion station in Al-Hawban and the solar power plant of the Local Water and Wastewater Corporation. Al-Masawi praised the improvement in water and electricity services, stressing the importance of business continuity to meet the needs of citizens.
