Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Nasser Al-Mihdhar discussed today with Shabwa Governor Awad Al-Awlaki and Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union Mohammed Al-Qahoum ways to support development efforts and establish cooperative societies.
In the meeting, the Deputy Minister stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to support community efforts in the development aspect, as well as improving the living conditions of the displaced and the families of martyrs from the province.
He urged cooperation and coordination between the various concerned authorities to establish cooperative societies to play their role in serving development purposes for the benefit of society.
For his part, the governor of Shabwa stressed the importance of the role of local authority agencies in coordination with the concerned authorities to improve the conditions of displaced families and provide care for the families of martyrs.
The Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union referred to the role of the Union in providing support and assistance related to training and rehabilitation, the establishment of associations, and the procedural steps for their establishment, in coordination with the Bonyan Development Foundation.
