Islamabad - Saba:
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shook areas in northwestern Pakistan on Monday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said in a report that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 212 kilometers on the Tajik-Afghan border, noting that there have been no reports of losses caused by this earthquake so far.
Areas affected by the earthquake included Peshawar, Malacand, Luer Der, and Waziristan provinces.
At the beginning of December, an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck several cities in Pakistan's eastern Punjab province.
