A meeting in Sana'a, chaired by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Baja'aleh, discussed preparations for the Fourth National Conference on Volunteerism, the first session of which is scheduled to kick off on Sunday.
The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor for the Development Sector, Ali Al-Razami, and the presence of the organizing committees for the conference event, reviewed the media awareness programs on volunteer work, which will start tomorrow, Wednesday, as well as preparations for the working papers that will be discussed during the conference sessions, which will last three days.
Minister Baja'ala praised the efforts exerted by the committees within the framework of their organizational tasks for this important conference, which translates the directives of the revolutionary , political leadership, reflects the vision , plan of the government of change , construction in expanding and developing the fields of voluntary work.
He emphasized the importance of voluntary work in achieving sustainable development for society. He expressed the ministry's readiness to support the organizing committees, the need for all sectors and entities related to voluntary work to cooperate to make the conference a success.
