Tehran-Saba:
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei strongly condemned the military attack carried out by the Zionist entity on Sana'a International Airport and Hodeidah port facilities, in addition to the destruction of energy production infrastructure in Yemen.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Baghaei strongly condemned the military attack carried out by the Zionist entity on Sana'a International Airport and Hodeidah port facilities, in addition to the destruction of energy production infrastructure in Yemen.
Baghaei described these attacks, which were planned and supported by the United States and Britain, as a flagrant violation of all international norms and standards, especially the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
He deplored the failure of the United Nations to address these increasing violations and crimes. This is a departure from its responsibilities and duties under the Charter of the Organization.
He pointed to the continuation of the genocide in Gaza and the expansion of the scope of aggression and expansionist tendencies of the Zionist entity to other countries in the region.
He considered the repeated attacks carried out by Israel, America, and Britain on civilian infrastructure in Yemen as part of the Zionist entity's malign policy of destroying and weakening Islamic countries.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman called for urgent action by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other regional and international institutions to confront these crimes.
He stressed that these attacks represent a clear violation of international peace and security and an undeniable crime against the heroic and honorable Yemeni people, who have never hesitated to support the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of occupation and genocide.
