Sana'a-Saba:
The Ministry of Health and Environment condemned the ongoing crimes of the Zionist occupation against the health system in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry denounced the usurping entity's destruction and burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital, its removal from service, the arrest of the hospital's director, Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, and the beating of him.
It pointed out that the enemy forces detained more than 350 people inside the hospital, including 180 medical staff, and 75 wounded, sick, and accompanied them, and forced those present to take off their clothes at gunpoint, and took them to an unknown destination.
The statement considered this attack a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of international laws and norms, pointing out that the enemy's continuous attacks on hospitals aim to eliminate the health system in the Gaza Strip, as part of the genocidal policy practiced against the Palestinian people.
The ministry called on the international community and UN and health organizations to break their silence and take practical and immediate steps to stop the crimes of the occupation in the Gaza Strip, especially those targeting hospitals.
