New York - Saba:
Hospitals in Gaza have once again become battlefields, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday, as "the health system is under severe threat."
This came after the occupation forces burned and stormed Kamal Odwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip as part of their ongoing military campaign there.
According to WHO Director, "the director of Kamal Odwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safia, is in an unknown location and we demand his release."
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also urged Israel to respect the health needs of patients it has detained in Gaza.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces continue their aggression by land, sea and air on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of 45,484 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 108,090 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue teams cannot reach them.
