Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected very cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, very cold weather is expected during the night and early morning hours in the governorates of Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Saada, western Al-Jawf and southern Marib with the possibility of frost forming in parts of them.
While the weather may be cold in the highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhale'e, Lahj, Abyan, the plateaus of Shabwa, Hadramaut and desert areas.
The center indicated that the weather may be relatively cold to cold with high relative humidity contributing to the formation of fog or water mist in parts of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah and Taiz.
It stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological monitoring stations this morning reached 3 in Dhamar, 3.2 in Amran - Qaa Al-Bun, and 4 in Sana'a.
The center warned citizens in the highlands, interior plateaus and deserts of cold and very cold weather during the night and early morning hours.
It advised farmers to take the necessary measures to protect crops from the effects of severe cold, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry keepers to preserve them.
The center also warned drivers of vehicles on mountain roads of the decrease in horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog.
