The Health and Environment Office in Taiz Governorate distributed laboratory reagents today to eight health facilities across several districts, with support from the Diem Organization for Development, at a total cost of $11,000.
Dr. Abdulmalik Mohammed Al-Mutawakkil, Director of the Health and Environment Office in the governorate, explained that the targeted hospitals included Al-Raheeda General Hospital in Khadeer District, Haifan Rural Hospital and Duma Ahkum Rural Hospital in Haifan District, Al-Hurriya Rural Hospital in Sharab Al-Rawnah District, Al-Salam Rural Hospital in Sharab Al-Salam District, and the Daminah Health Center in Khadeer, along with Al-Shifa and Al-Aghwal centers in Al-Ta'izziyah District.
Al-Mutawakkil highlighted the importance of the distributed reagents in enhancing diagnostic services at these health facilities. He also praised the continued support of the Ministry of Health and Environment and the local authorities in the governorate, whose efforts aim to improve the overall quality of healthcare services in the region.
