Washington - Saba:
US military leaders warned, on Wednesday, of the continuation of the battle taking place in the territorial waters of the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden.
The Commander of the Naval Air Forces, Vice Admiral Daniel Cheever, said in a statement: "We are facing a real danger posed by prolonged fighting in the Red Sea", noting that the longer the war lasts, the greater the chance of a major disaster.
He stressed that the Yemeni armed forces have become adept at confrontation.
"Cheever" pointed out that cooperation and coordination between the surface and air communities has increased significantly since the start of the Red Sea battle, explaining that rapid cooperation has become essential when preparing a ship or squadron to confront the threat coming from Yemen.
For his part, the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral James Kilby, said: "As the Navy fleet continues to fight the "Houthis", we learn lessons from every clash, and we will continue to learn from the incidents that occur every day, as we learn from our shortcomings more than we learn from our successes." He said.
The first time America fought in the Red Sea, it took about 40 days to analyze ship data, Klebe said, adding, “Data analysis touches everything in our surface warfare ecosystem.”
