Gaza - Saba:
Last night, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Basem Naim, confirmed that all problems related to the ceasefire agreement have been resolved in the last hours.
Naim said during press statements: "Netanyahu no longer has a chance to escape from the agreement, and Ben Gvir's resignation is the beginning of the Israeli political collapse."
He added: "We are going to implement the ceasefire agreement on Sunday despite the enemy's approach of procrastination and evasion."
According to the Palestine Today Agency
Netanyahu's office said, "Prime Minister Netanyahu insists on completing all the details of the agreement before presenting it to the cabinet and the government for approval.
He added: "The prime minister strongly opposed Hamas's demand to change the deployment of our forces on the Philadelphi axis, and thus he stood firmly against other demands from Hamas today that deviate from the understandings reached during the negotiations. It seems that this insistence is bearing fruit, but until matters are fully agreed upon, the prime minister will not convene the government."
Last night, Wednesday, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, announced the success of the mediators in reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
The Qatari Foreign Minister said in a press conference: "Qatar, Egypt and the United States of America are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached regarding Gaza, with the approval of the negotiating parties. Work continues tonight to complete the executive aspects."
He added: "The implementation of the agreement will begin on Sunday, January 19, and I thank our partners, Egypt and the United States, for their efforts that contributed to pushing the negotiations forward," indicating that according to the agreement Hamas will release 33 hostages in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
He also explained that the details of the second and third stages will be determined after the completion of the first stage of the agreement, adding, "Qatar, Egypt and the United States will work to ensure the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, and we are working with Hamas and Israel on the steps to implement the ceasefire agreement."
