The technical education and vocational training sector in Dhamar province on Saturday held a significant speech event to mark the anniversary of Rajab Friday, under the theme: "With our faith identity, we triumph for our Palestinian cause."
In the event, province undersecretary Mahmoud al-Jabin highlighted the historic connection between the Great Messenger and the people of Yemen.
He emphasized their critical role in supporting the Messenger and spreading his message to the world.
Al-Jabin expressed that Yemen’s current support for Gaza mirrors the dedication of historical tribes such as Aws, Khazraj, and Jurhum, reinforcing the nation’s deep faith identity.
He urged everyone to strengthen their connection to the Quran and to live its teachings in both word and action.
Ahmed al-Jarfi, the Director of the Technical Education Sector, reflected on the cultural significance of commemorating Rajab Friday.
He described it as an essential part of Yemen’s heritage, reinforcing the importance of renewing the covenant with God and His Messenger, and continuing on the righteous path.
Nasser al-Majhali, Dean of the Commercial Institute, highlighted the anniversary's symbolism for Yemeni identity and its deep ties to Islam.
He emphasized the role of the Qur’anic project in safeguarding the strength, dignity, and pride of the nation while rebuilding the self and fostering Islamic unity.
Cultural activist Youssef Sabr spoke passionately about the importance of recalling the lessons from the Ansar ancestors, who exemplified the core values of Islam. He urged a return to the Quran and a collective effort to fortify future generations and society against the dangers of soft war.
The event served as a powerful reminder of the Yemeni people’s enduring commitment to their faith and unity in the face of challenges, particularly in support of Palestine.
