Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has strongly condemned the murder of poet Rashid Alawi al-Hutam under torture in the so-called Political Security prison in Marib province.
In a statement, the ministry described the killing as a flagrant violation of human rights and international law.
The statement condemned the silence of human rights organizations and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding these ongoing human rights abuses.
It highlighted that this is not an isolated incident, as the Islah militias are known to engage in the torture and arbitrary detention of prisoners.
The Ministry called upon local, Arab, and international human rights organizations to investigate and expose the human rights violations taking place within the secret prisons in Marib and other occupied governorates.
This news report effectively summarizes the ministry's statement, highlighting the key points and condemning the murder of the poet.
