The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazarin, called for three demands to be met in order for the UN agency to continue performing its humanitarian tasks in Gaza, in conjunction with the ceasefire agreement.
According to the United Nations Information Center, these demands are represented in preventing the Zionist Knesset legislation, and insisting on the political path forward that clearly defines UNRWA's role as a provider of basic services.
