Capitals - Saba:
The daring Palestinian operation carried out near the illegal settlement of Kedumim, east of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank, sent a clear and resolute message: resistance cannot be broken or defeated. This steadfast struggle, embodied by all factions, will persist until the full liberation of Palestinian land.
Early Monday, two Palestinian resistance fighters executed a shooting operation targeting a bus and a vehicle in the village of Fandaq, east of Qalqilya. The attack resulted in the deaths of three settlers and injuries to nine others, exposing the fragility of the Zionist entity’s security apparatus.
Zionist emergency services confirmed the deaths of three settlers and reported that nine others, including the bus driver, sustained injuries, with the driver in critical condition. According to Israeli media, one of the dead was a police investigator stationed in the Ariel settlement.
The attack, which occurred in two separate locations near the Fandaq village entrance and within the village itself, was described as a sophisticated operation that exposed the failures of Israel’s deterrence strategies. It demonstrated that neither the Zionist measures nor the Palestinian Authority's policies against resistance can subdue the Palestinian people or force them into submission.
Political analysts highlighted the operation's symbolic and strategic implications, noting its reinforcement of the inseparability of Israeli security from Palestinian security in Gaza and the West Bank. They argued that as long as Israeli aggression continues, Israelis will not feel safe anywhere.
Yasser Manaa, an expert on Israeli affairs, emphasized that the operation underscored the vulnerability of Israel’s security system to resistance attacks, challenging its much-touted deterrence capabilities. He noted that advanced technology, checkpoints, and military deployment failed to prevent the attack, raising serious questions about the effectiveness of Israel's security apparatus.
Another expert, Mamoun Abu Amer, described the operation as a clear failure of Israeli policies aimed at suppressing resistance in the West Bank and Gaza. He explained that Israel's continued crimes against Palestinians only fuel their resolve to adopt resistance as a means of countering occupation and avenging the bloodshed in Gaza and the West Bank.
Abu Amer also pointed out that such operations terrify settlers, especially in sensitive areas like the one targeted on Monday, and act as a deterrent against settler militias’ aggression. He criticized the extremist policies of Netanyahu's government, which have incited calls for genocide in the northern West Bank and exposed its agenda of ethnic cleansing under the guise of security.
The operation coincides with the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing campaign against resistance in Jenin, a move that analysts argue serves Israel’s agenda of isolating and weakening Palestinian resistance. Abu Amer called for Palestinian unity to counter Zionist plans aimed at eradicating the Palestinian presence and resistance altogether.
This operation, described as a landmark in the ongoing struggle, reaffirmed the resilience of the Palestinian people and their unwavering commitment to the path of resistance, despite the silence of the international and Arab communities and the unyielding support of the U.S. for Israel.
