A Zionist settler was killed and another was injured, on Monday evening, by the fire of the Zionist enemy forces by mistake near the town of Al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.

The media of the Zionist enemy reported that a settler was killed and another was injured by the fire of an occupation soldier, as a result of a misdiagnosis because he believed that they were Palestinians.

The injury of one of the wounded was described as critical, while the condition of the other was described as serious.

On Monday evening, settlers burned homes and vehicles in the towns of Al-Funduq and Jinsafut, east of Qalqilya.

Local sources reported that a number of settlers attacked the towns of Al-Funduq and Jinsafut under the protection of the occupation forces, and attacked homes and shops, setting fire to a number of them, and burning several vehicles belonging to citizens. The sources explained that the enemy forces opened fire on citizens who rushed to confront the settlers.

The town of Al-Funduq is subjected to repeated attacks and great incitement by the settlers after three settlers were killed and others were injured in a shooting operation that took place two weeks ago near the town.
