Director General of Publication and Documentation at the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission Amir Daoud reported on Wednesday that the number of checkpoints and iron gates that the Zionist enemy army has set up in the West Bank has reached 898.
Daoud said that out of the 898 military checkpoints and iron gates, 18 iron gates have been set up by the occupation since the beginning of this year 2025.
He added that the last iron gate was the gate of the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, which the occupation army set up this morning, so that the final tally of the number of checkpoints in all their classifications is (898), including (146) iron gates after October 7, 2023.
He pointed out that the settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, carried out a series of attacks on Palestinian villages and towns, citizens' vehicles and their property, especially in eastern Qalqilya, which indicates that there is a functional exchange between them, to spoil Citizens' lives.
For the third day in a row, the occupation forces tightened their military measures at most of the entrances and exits of the governorates in the West Bank.
