Jenin - Saba:
The Director of the UNRWA Affairs in the West Bank, Roland Frederick, said today, Wednesday, that the military operation carried out by the Zionist enemy army in Jenin and its camp in the occupied West Bank threatens the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
For the second day in a row, the occupation forces continue to target the infrastructure and homes in Jenin, after besieging it, where ten citizens have been killed so far.
Frederick added: "The Israeli forces used advanced weapons and methods of warfare, including air strikes, in their ongoing operation in Jenin." He stressed that Jenin camp is almost uninhabitable with the displacement of about two thousand families since mid-December, noting that "UNRWA was unable to provide its services to the camp during that period."
Last Sunday, the ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect, and according to it, Hamas will release 33 "Israeli" prisoners in the first phase, which will last for 42 days, and the Israeli entity will release more than a thousand prisoners.
