Russian air defenses destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones over 13 regions of the country, before the authorities reported the downing of two other drones on the borders of Leningrad Oblast.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement this morning, Friday, that 37 drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Bryansk Oblast, 20 in Ryazan, 17 over Kursk, 17 over Saratov, seven over Rostov, six over Moscow Oblast, six over Belgorod, three over Voronezh, two over Oryol and Lipetsk, and one drone over Crimea and the capital, Moscow.
Earlier, the Mayor of Moscow reported the downing of enemy drones heading to the capital without causing any casualties or damage.
The Governor of Ryazan Oblast, Pavel Malkov, reported via Telegram that the wreckage of a drone fell on a private house, causing a fire that was quickly extinguished, without causing any casualties.
The governor added that "the traces of the air strike on Zyazan", which did not cause any casualties, according to preliminary information, are being removed, and that past damage is being assessed, after the wreckage of a drone fell on the grounds of an industrial enterprise, according to the authorities. Several Russian airports have also been temporarily suspended due to security threats, including Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Vnukovo airports near Moscow, as well as Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Saratov, Ufa and Samara airports.
