Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor, sent a telegram of condolences and sympathy on the death of former Minister of Human Rights, Dr. Waheeba Ghaleb Farea, President of Arwa University, due to a terminal illness, and after a political and academic career full of giving in the service of the homeland.
The member of the Supreme Political Council praised in the telegram he sent to the husband of the deceased, Major General Ali Muhammad Hashem, and his children, the virtues of the deceased and her roles in the paths of national, academic, social, and developmental work.
He noted the leadership record of the deceased, who held several positions, most notably the first Minister of Human Rights, Dean of the Institute of Administrative Sciences, and President of the Dialogue and Development Forum, in addition to her founding and presidency of Arwa University.
He pointed to the scientific research and valuable writings of the deceased, which focused to a large extent on issues of education, development, and women, stressing that the homeland and the higher education sector lost a national and pioneering figure among the pioneers of development and academic work.
