Kabul - Saba:

At least ten civilians, all from the same family, were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Khost province, eastern Afghanistan, on Tuesday evening, according to provincial government spokesman Mustaghfir Jarbaz.

The horrific incident took place in the Ali Sher district late yesterday evening when unidentified gunmen entered a house and opened fire, killing ten people, including two men, eight women, and children.

In light of this, Jarbaz stressed that efforts to arrest those responsible for the multiple killings and bring them to justice are still underway.
