Sana'a - Saba:
Sixty employees of the Yemeni news agency (Saba) recently concluded on Thursday a 13-day military training course dubbed "al-Aqsa Flood."
Participants from various departments received instruction in weapons handling, military tactics, and combat skills.
The training, described by Saba's deputy board chairman Mohammed Abdulqudus al-Shari'i as vital for enhancing employee skills and raising awareness of national and regional issues, underscores the agency's commitment to preparedness.
Al-Shari'i emphasized Yemen's strategic role in confronting what he termed "American and Zionist" forces, highlighting the importance of unity in defending both Yemen and Palestine.
He connected the training to Yemen's support for the Palestinian cause and its opposition to foreign influence, urging media personnel to combat misinformation and accurately portray Yemen's regional role.
Speaking on behalf of the participants in "al-Aqsa Flood" military training course, Samir al-Qudaimi, Director General of Translation at the Saba News Agency, declared the course a crucial opportunity for the agency's media personnel to acquire essential military skills.
Al-Qudaimi stated these skills would prepare them for any future conflict with the "US- and British-backed Zionist enemy."
He highlighted the comprehensive nature of the training, covering various weapons, equipment, and combat tactics.
Al-Qudaimi expressed confidence that the participants would apply their newly acquired knowledge and share it with the wider community
