Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Eng. Moeen al-Mahaqeri chaired a meeting on Sunday to review the status of the ministry's offices across the country and discuss future work plans.
The meeting focused on aligning the ministry's activities with the government's economic stimulus program and the newly introduced investment law.
Minister al-Mahaqeri emphasized the crucial role of regional offices in achieving the ministry's objectives and improving citizens' living standards.
Al-Mahaqeri stressed the importance of adapting to the new investment law, which aims to foster public-private partnerships, protect national capital, and support local production.
The Minister called for the preparation of investment opportunity lists in each province to stimulate development and encourage investment in key sectors such as energy, alternative energy, local production, and exports.
He also emphasized the importance of consumer protection and price stabilization ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
The meeting underscored the ministry's commitment to supporting investments and creating a conducive environment for economic growth.
