Gaza - Saba:
The decision of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to give the Zionist enemy four days before resuming naval operations aimed at imposing a blockade on the ports of the occupation, in the event that his fascist government continues to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid and goods into the Gaza Strip ... represents a noble Yemeni and humanitarian stance towards a tragedy that no person with a conscience can remain silent about; let alone Yemen, which has the largest Arab stance in support of the tragedy of Gaza against the Israeli aggression.

The decision of the leader of the revolution was necessary to put an end to the escalating indicators of the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza as a result of Netanyahu’s decision to close the crossings and prevent the entry of aid; a tragedy whose indicators are evident to us daily, especially since Sunday when Netanyahu announced the closure of the crossings.

In parallel with the resumption of negotiations in Cairo, the Zionist decision-maker had to review his calculations, and for this reason the new Yemeni position was necessary, which actually put them before the challenges of resuming losses inside the Zionist entity. Why close the crossings?

In a move that can only be described as a war crime by all standards, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu has once again resorted to starvation policies against two million Palestinians, with an American green light, reversing the truce agreement in Gaza, and refusing to move forward with the second and third stages of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, by announcing a ban on the entry of aid into Gaza, on the grounds that the resistance has rejected a new American proposal.

Netanyahu is trying, through obstruction and procrastination, to enter the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, to impose a “new political reality” by twisting the arm of the resistance, especially with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, and the increasing need of the people of the stricken Strip for basic materials that sustain life, which cannot be accepted in Gaza, no matter what excuses and lies Netanyahu and his supporters weave, according to Palestinian observers.

Hamas described the occupation government's decision to close the crossings and stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip as "cheap blackmail and a full-fledged war crime," and considered the decision a blatant coup against the ceasefire agreement.

In a statement on Sunday, Hamas called on mediators and the international community to take immediate action to pressure the occupation to stop its punitive and immoral measures targeting more than two million people in Gaza.

In turn, the Government Media Office in Gaza called on the ceasefire mediators in Gaza to pressure the occupation to implement its obligations under the agreement, in all its stages, and to implement the humanitarian protocol, and to bring in shelter and relief supplies, rescue equipment and mechanisms into the Gaza Strip.

Director of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Dr. Ismail Al-Thawabtah, said: It is clear that the war criminal “Netanyahu”, after the failure of his fascist army to achieve its goals on the ground over the course of 15 months, is now seeking to impose new political facts on the ground by violating agreements and imposing coercive policies aimed at strengthening his military and political grip. This behavior reflects his inability to achieve any real progress on the ground.

Al-Thawabta added: Although the occupation government has crossed many red lines in violating the rights of our Palestinian people, there is an urgent need to remind them of Article 14 of the agreement, which stipulates the continuation of the procedures of the first phase during the second phase. Therefore, disrupting these procedures is a blatant violation of the agreement.

He called on the US administration to stop its absolute bias towards the policies of the "Israeli" occupation and its fascist Prime Minister "Netanyahu", which reinforces practices that perpetuate the conflict. "Also, standing with a war criminal like "Netanyahu" means the continuation of the suffering and injustice of our honorable Palestinian people."

On January 19, a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and a prisoner exchange between Hamas and the Zionist entity began, which includes 3 stages, each lasting 42 days, with the mediation of Egypt and Qatar and the support of the United States.

The Zionist entity has turned Gaza into the largest prison in the world, as it has been under siege for the 18th year, and the war of extermination has forced about two million of its citizens, numbering about 2.4 million Palestinians, to flee in tragic conditions with a deliberate severe shortage of food, water and medicine.

In this context, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative Movement, Mustafa Barghouti, confirmed on Sunday that Israel’s decision to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip constitutes a “brutal war crime.”

Barghouti said in a statement: “The decision of the fascist Israeli government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu to prevent the entry of humanitarian materials and aid into the Gaza Strip (starting Sunday) represents a brutal war crime against international law and international humanitarian law.”

He added that the decision represents "the imposition of collective punishment, siege and starvation on two million Palestinians, more than half of whom are children, and a death sentence on the sick, wounded and premature babies."

In turn, writer and political analyst Yasser Al-Zatara said in a post on the "X" platform: Netanyahu silences the guns (during Ramadan) and uses the weapon of starvation! This is the gist of his recent decisions.

Al-Zatara continued: Since Trump's victory, the right-wing forces have been demanding the use of aid as a weapon to pressure Hamas and the resistance, based on the fact that Trump will not oppose this.

He added: Because Netanyahu wants to overturn the agreement on the basis of which the war stopped, and to be satisfied with recovering the prisoners by extending the first phase of it, he has gone in this direction of “cheap blackmail,” according to Hamas’ comment, and he is indeed like that.

He stressed that Netanyahu's decision puts the Egyptian and Qatari mediators in a very embarrassing position, and it goes without saying that every person of conscience should demand that they take a strong position in response to this blatant disdain for them and for the agreement that was signed.

He stressed, saying: We know the nature of this enemy in violating treaties, but we also know that it is cowardly and retreats when confronted with strong positions, so how can we now face a blatant war crime against areas subject to its occupation according to international law?!

Netanyahu's office said in a statement on Sunday that "the prime minister has decided that starting Sunday morning, all goods and supplies will be stopped from entering the Gaza Strip."

Netanyahu's decision to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza was met with severe criticism and attacks from politicians and families of Israeli prisoners.

The Israeli occupation estimates that there are 59 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, 24 of whom are alive, while more than 10,000 Palestinians are languishing in its prisons, suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, which has led to the deaths of many of them, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

With American support, the Zionist entity has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 160,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.

The Yemeni position came at the right time and timing to say to the global human conscience: You are facing a tragedy that will test your values and principles. Will you be victorious over it?! If you remain silent, Yemen will not remain silent, and will do what others have failed to do .
