The Board of Directors of the Yemeni Olympic Committee approved on Tuesday its 2025 budget and plan at a meeting chaired by Chairman Abdulrahman al-Akwa.
The plan includes a range of activities, including local activities, promising centers programs, opening new training centers, referee and coach training courses, development of electronic and technical infrastructure, international Participation, participation in the West Asian Youth Games, Asian Youth Games, and Islamic Solidarity Games, scientific Activities, seminars and courses on combating doping and tampering with results, implementation of the "Trustworthy Guardian" athlete protection program, celebration of World Olympic Day.
The meeting also reviewed the committee's 2024 performance and approved its final account, which was audited by an international accounting firm.
Chairman al-Akwa emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Olympic Committee and sports federations to achieve success in developing Yemeni sports.
He also stressed the committee's commitment to transparency and integrity in all its financial dealings.
This meeting highlights the Yemeni Olympic Committee's dedication to developing Yemeni athletes and promoting sports within the country.
