Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects very cold weather to continue in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that very cold weather is expected in the governorates of Al Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Saada, west of Al Jawf and Marib with the possibility of frost forming in limited parts of them, and minimum temperatures range between 2-6 degrees Celsius.
While the weather may be cold in the highlands of Ibb, Al Dhale'e, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa plateaus, Hadhramaut, Al Mahrah and desert areas, and minimum temperatures range between 6-10 degrees Celsius.
According to the center, the weather is likely to be relatively cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah and Taiz governorates, and minimum temperatures range between 10-12 degrees Celsius.
He pointed out that the lowest temperatures recorded in some weather stations this morning were as follows: Dhamar: 0.2, Amran: 2.4, Sana'a: 3.5, Seiyun: 5.2 degrees Celsius.
The center warned citizens of the very cold weather during the night and early morning hours, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the evening and early morning periods.
It advised farmers to take the necessary measures to protect crops, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to shelter them in healthy and warm places.
