Acting governor of Taiz Ahmed al-Masawa inspected on Thursday the ongoing construction of al-Shaheed Abu Zaid Suwaih Street and inaugurated the work of irrigating trees with water tanks.
Al-Masawa visited the construction site of the street, a 1,900-meter-long road project aimed at alleviating traffic congestion in the city. He stressed the importance of completing the project on time and according to approved standards.
The governor also inspected the progress of the 50th Street paving project, which extends for nine kilometers. He praised the level of achievement and directed the implementing agency to adhere to the approved plan and specifications.
Furthermore, al-Masawa inaugurated the work of irrigating trees with private water tanks, emphasizing the importance of green spaces and their contribution to the city's aesthetic appeal. He stressed the need to enhance the capacity of the Improvement Office to effectively carry out these essential services.
These initiatives reflect the local authorities' commitment to improving infrastructure, enhancing public services, and improving the overall quality of life for the citizens of Taiz.
