Sana'a – Saba:
The First Yemeni Conference on Clinical Pharmacy, organized by September 21 University with the participation of more than 500 researchers and academics, concluded in Sana'a, where participants discussed 21 research papers and scientific papers on the role of clinical pharmacists in improving health care and promoting the use of advanced treatments.
The conference recommended the need to appoint clinical pharmacists in hospitals, provide specialized training programs, establish an electronic platform for the exchange of research and experiences, and involve the media in raising awareness of the importance of clinical pharmacy.
The participants also stressed the need to include clinical pharmacy subjects in the curricula of medical schools and to promote scientific research in this field.
The President of September 21 University, Dr. Mujahid Maasar, stressed the importance of continuing the scientific movement and implementing the recommendations, while the President of Jableh University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Matari, considered the conference a qualitative step to advance the medical field.
At the end of the event, the scientific and preparatory committees and chairpersons of the sessions were honored with certificates of appreciation and honorary shields in recognition of their efforts in making the conference a success.
