Sana'a - Saba:
Following Friday prayers, various districts in Sana’a witnessed protest rallies denouncing U.S. plans to forcibly displace Palestinians and take control of Gaza.
Protest statements condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks advocating for the displacement of Gazans and the pressure exerted on Arab countries to facilitate this agenda. They emphasized that Trump’s threats and far-right Israeli schemes would fail, just as the genocidal war and ethnic cleansing using U.S. weaponry have failed.
Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their right to fully liberate their land, while also praising Egypt and Jordan for rejecting the forced displacement of Gazans.
The statements further denounced ongoing Israeli aggression in the West Bank, particularly the Israeli army’s incursion into the town of Tammun in Tubas Governorate, which led to the forced displacement of its residents.
Additionally, they strongly condemned the torture and murder of poet Rashid Al-Hattam in Marib by mercenary militias, allegedly in retaliation for his participation in a celebration on the eve of the Gaza ceasefire.
