Anti-Aggression Political Parties condemn Trump’s remarks on Gaza displacement and occupation

Sana’a – SABA:

The political parties and forces opposing aggression strongly condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks calling for the forced displacement of Gaza’s residents and its occupation by U.S. forces, labeling them a blatant violation of international law and Palestinian rights.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the parties asserted that Trump’s statements reflect a colonial mindset and are an extension of U.S. policies supporting Israeli occupation and legitimizing its crimes against the Palestinian people. They further described these remarks as a transparent attempt to revive forced displacement and ethnic cleansing projects, which are rejected by all international laws, religious principles, and global norms.

The statement also rejected portraying Gaza as an investment project, calling it an extension of occupation policies based on destruction, displacement, and land theft, which they deemed a crime against humanity that must not go unpunished.

The anti-aggression political parties warned that such remarks pose a direct threat to international peace and security, reaffirming that the U.S., under Trump’s leadership, remains a key partner in aggression against the Palestinian people, violating all international laws and norms.

Additionally, they condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s support for Trump’s proposals, which they said expose the true face of Israel’s expansionist and racist policies.

The statement urged Arab and Islamic nations, the international community, the United Nations, and all free forces worldwide to take urgent action against these remarks and implement practical measures to prevent any plans aimed at displacing Palestinians from their land.

Finally, the statement reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause remains a central Arab and Islamic liberation struggle, stressing that colonial projects and Israeli-backed schemes will only strengthen Palestinian resilience and reinforce their right to freedom, independence, and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
