The deputy director of agricultural extension in the province, Hamoud Abdullah, pointed out the importance of analyzing and fermenting organic fertilizer because of its benefits compared to conventional fertilization; these benefits include the complete decomposition of fertilizers.
He pointed out that the plant takes full advantage of it, and it has no side effects on the soil and agriculture in terms of the absence of fungi and bacteria that cause diseases to plants, the absence of harmful weeds on the plant, and other benefits that contribute to improving the agricultural process.
According to the extension director, fermented fertilizer helps activate beneficial soil organisms, and works to loosen and aerate the soil. He pointed out the importance of treating the soil from salts resulting from the excessive use of chemical fertilizers that are harmful to the soil and the plant.
