A leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warned on Saturday that the Zionist enemy is not committed to the ceasefire in Gaza, which threatens to disrupt , collapse the prisoner and detainee exchange deal between the two sides.
"The ceasefire agreement is in danger and may collapse because of Israel," said Bassem Naim, a member of Hamas' political bureau.
"What we see is procrastination and lack of commitment in the implementation of the first phase. "It certainly jeopardizes this agreement and it may stop and may collapse.
On Saturday, the fifth exchange of detainees and prisoners took place between Hamas and Israel, under which three Israeli detainees were released in exchange for 183 Palestinian prisoners.
The handover of the three detainees took place in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The detainees included Eli Sharabi, 52, Or Levy, 34, and Ohad Ben-Ami, 56.
A total of 183 Palestinian prisoners were released, including 18 serving life sentences, 54 serving long sentences, and 111 who were arrested after October 7.
