Zakharova: Zelensky words on lands exchange delirium by mentally ill person

Moscow - Saba:

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Wednesday dubbed the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's talk about exchanging lands with Moscow as "delirium of a disturbed person."

Zelensky, the Ukrainian President, had stated in an interview with The Guardian newspaper that he does not rule out any type of land exchange with the Russian Federation, without providing any details.

"Based on Zelensky's lack of legitimacy, it is impossible to take (the statement on exchanging lands) seriously," Zakharova told Sputnik Radio.

She noted that Zelensky often gives interviews with resonant statements that have no logical chain.

"All this is of a different nature than the proposals and initiatives that are seriously aimed at breaking the Ukrainian deadlock, or attempts to find common ground," Zakharova added.

Russian diplomacy considers it necessary to solve tactical problems, to show the image and reality of progress in the Kursk direction.

"In this ‘paranoiac delirium’ that he launched regarding the exchange of territories, the central word is ‘Kursk’. Why does he need this word? It is clear that everything is collapsing and falling apart there. The bloodbath that he created there is no longer a secret for Ukrainian citizens. All this is happening amid a crazy, manic desire, as is usually the case with psychopaths, to drag young people aged 18-24 into this bloodbath," she said.

Vladimir Zelensky announced the readiness of Ukrainian troops to withdraw from parts of the Russian Kursk region in exchange for the withdrawal of Russian troops from some other territories.
