A scientific workshop was held on Sunday to discuss and review the strategic plan.
The workshop, organized by the College of Arts and Humanities at Sana'a University, aims to discuss and review the strategic plan and the characterization of the non-specialized diploma and doctoral programs.
The workshop, organized by the college in cooperation with the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council, aims to discuss and review the strategic plan and the description of the diploma and doctoral programs to ensure the advancement of the educational process , the development of programs and courses to keep pace with global development.
The College Dean, Dr. Abdul Malik Issa, explained the importance of the workshop in developing university education, linking its outputs to the requirements of society , the labor market, and developing positive attitudes among students in the concepts of self-education and continuing education.
For his part, the representative of the Academic Accreditation Council, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Saafani, stated that these efforts come within the framework of a clear strategic vision that seeks to achieve integration between the human sciences and the era requirements while emphasizing their role in building a conscious and educated society that adheres to its faith identity and contributes to the renaissance of his country.
He reviewed the procedures and stages of strategic planning, the steps taken by Sana'a University to obtain national academic accreditation for the medicine and surgery program, as well as the steps taken to apply to the Academic Accreditation Council to obtain institutional accreditation for 10 colleges, and programmatic accreditation for 4 academic programs.
In turn, Dr. Huda Al-Emad, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at Sana'a University, praised the efforts of faculty members , their role in upgrading the educational process , developing programs and curricula.
