During his visit to the Shura Council on Sunday, Supreme Political Council member Sultan Al-Sami'i met with the Council's Presidium , a number of heads and leaders of the Council's standing committees.
The meeting, which included a number of members of the Council and the Secretary General of the Council, discussed administrative and organizational aspects, the development of the institutional structure of the Shura Council and the successes achieved by the Council during the past period.
In the meeting, the Supreme Political Member Sami'i praised the courageous and historic position of the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and his directives to prepare for any aggression against Gaza or the implementation of the US administration's plans to displace the population of Gaza.
He reiterated that Yemen will not abandon the Palestinian cause, Gaza or the Islamic holy sites in Palestine as the central issue for Yemen and the nation until the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
"We are partners in the victory of Gaza, we will be partners in the survival of the Palestinians in their country, Gaza will return and be built better than it was, despite the nose of the Zionists," he said.
He expressed the Supreme Political Council's keenness to support Shura Council , its path aimed at strengthening and developing its institutional structure , enhancing the performance and activity of its standing committees.
For his part, Speaker Al-Aydarous praised the historic speech of the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the warning , courageous messages it contained to the Zionist entity and the US administration against the consequences of implementing the plan to displace the population of Gaza.
He pointed out that the Shura Council supports all the positions and options taken by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in order to continue supporting the Palestinian cause , stop the crimes of the Zionist entity and the displacement plot.
He reviewed a part of the community activity of the council members and participation in field work, popular events and resolving tribal issues, which amounted to more than five thousand field and community activities during the year 1446 AH.
The Chairman of the Shura Council explained that these activities were distributed among the activities in line with the calls of the Revolution Leader in supporting Gaza, confronting the aggression on Yemen, community initiatives, mobilization, and resolving many community issues.
