Dozens of Zionist settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday, under the protection of the Zionist enemy forces.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported in a statement that 543 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and carried out provocative tours.
It explained that the intruders performed Talmudic rituals and prayers and "epic prostration" in the eastern area of the mosque.
The enemy forces tightened their restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa Mosque and detained their IDs at its external gates.
Al-Aqsa has recently witnessed an escalation in settler incursions and violations of its sanctity, by increasing the number of intruders and performing "Talmudic" rituals and prayers.
Calls continue to intensify the crowds and the presence at the mosque, with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, and the continued attacks by the Zionist enemy and the settlers’ incursions. These calls stressed the need to intensify the crowds and presence at Al-Aqsa during the coming days and throughout Ramadan, to thwart any Judaization plans by the enemy authorities and the settler groups.
