Member of the French Parliament Carlos Martens called for a firmer and clearer position to support the Palestinians politically, morally and financially, stressing that the Palestinians in Gaza Strip are exposed to a great humanitarian tragedy.
During televised statements on Friday, French parliament member Carlos Martens called for more support for the Palestinian people and not colluding with the Zionist enemy.
"France defends human rights and freedom and we should not stand silent in the face of the aggression against the Palestinians," he said.
He emphasized the need for regular delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza Strip, as well as working towards the reconstruction of Gaza Strip, enabling Palestinians to do so and ensuring the sustainability of these efforts.
He emphasized that France is making every effort to prevent the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza Strip.
He emphasized the need for coordination between the French parliament and international parliaments to support Gaza and the Palestinian cause.
