The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development for the Plans and Budgets Sector, Khaled Al-Khazan, inspected the progress of work in several community initiatives projects in the roads sector in Yareem District, Ibb Governorate.

Accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Agricultural Union, Eng. Muhammad Al-Qahoum, the Deputy General Mobilization Officer in the governorate, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Waeli, and the Director of the Directorate, Muhammad Al-Khaled.

The visit included projects for the construction and paving of roads, most notably Dhi Yahloul Road in the isolation of Bani Saba, which reached its eighth phase at 17 million riyals, and Al-Azazi Road, which is paved with concrete with a length of 3 kilometers, with the support of the Central Emergency Intervention Unit with cement.

The delegation also inspected the project of the village of Djerba Al-Bayt in the isolation of Aryab, with a length of 1.5 km and a completion rate of 50%, in addition to the construction and paving of the road of the village of Mawah in the isolation of Bani Manba with a length of 2 km, and the follow-up work in the Mawah School.

The officials listened to an explanation from the community committees on the efforts made by citizens in providing stones and sand and the importance of supporting the Emergency Intervention Unit with cement to complete projects that serve thousands of families.

Undersecretary Al-Khazan praised the implemented community initiatives, stressing their importance in achieving development renaissance and improving services in rural areas, pointing to the great community interaction in the directorate to benefit from the available support.

The Director of the Directorate stressed the continuation of efforts to activate government and community initiatives in the sectors of roads, agriculture, and water to promote development in the region.
