Argentina's Sebastian Baez advanced to the final of the Rio Open tennis tournament, after defeating his compatriot Camilo Ojo Carabelli by two sets to one.
In the semifinals, defending champion Baez beat Carabelli (3/6, 6/1, 6/1, 6/1) in a match that lasted one hour and 45 minutes.
Baez, who is looking to become the first two-time Rio Open champion, will face Frenchman Alexandre Muller in the final, who beat Argentina's Francisco Comisana two sets to one (7/5, 6/7, 6/3) in a marathon match that lasted nearly three hours.
Muller, who reached his first final in a 500-point tournament, is hoping to become the first Frenchman to win the Rio title.
