Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stressed that Iran "will stand by any decision issued by the Lebanese government, people and resistance," noting that the love and appreciation of the Lebanese people for the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah reflects the extent of their commitment to the resistance and its values.
During a press conference in Beirut, Qalibaf said, "For Lebanon to be prosperous and stable, it is essential that there be a consensus among the various components of the Lebanese people, including the government, people, and resistance. In this regard, I want to emphasize this important point that we will stand by any decision issued unanimously by the Lebanese government, people, and resistance."
He stressed that "what we witnessed today in Lebanon shows the extent of the Lebanese people's love for the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who is considered a model for the entire Islamic nation."
