Gaza - Saba:
Hamas confirmed that it will not hold any talks with the Zionist enemy through mediators before releasing the Palestinian prisoners, who were agreed to be released on Saturday.
Movement leader Mahmoud Mardawi said that Hamas refuses to talk to "Israel" before it commits to releasing the Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the six Israeli prisoners, calling on the mediators to obligate the occupation to implement the agreement.
602 Palestinian prisoners were supposed to be released as part of the seventh batch of the Tuffah al-Ahrar deal after the Qassam Brigades released six Israeli prisoners, but the occupation backed down from implementing the agreement and Netanyahu's office announced the postponement of the release of Palestinian prisoners.
The list of Palestinian prisoners includes 50 life sentences, 60 long sentences, and 41 of those released in the "Wafa al-Ahrar" deal who were re-arrested, in addition to 445 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested by the occupation after October 7, 2023.
