The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday the elimination of more than 200 Ukrainian soldiers in battles in the Kursk axis during the past 24 hours.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that its forces repelled four counter-attacks by Ukrainian forces in Kursk province, and destroyed their military equipment.

The statement pointed out that the total losses of the Ukrainian armed forces since the start of combat operations on the Kursk axis on August 6 amounted to about 62850 military personnel.
