The media committee of Jenin camp confirmed today, Sunday, that about 90% of the camp's residents were forcibly displaced due to the occupation's aggression.
The media committee said in press statements: "The occupation's aggression has caused the displacement of more than 20,000 Palestinians from the camp."
It added: "The occupation's aggression led to the cutting off of water and electricity, food shortages, and children's needs, explaining that the occupation destroyed about 498 homes and facilities completely or partially."
The "Israeli" occupation's wide-scale aggression in the city of Jenin and its camp continues for the 41st consecutive day, which led to the martyrdom of 27 Palestinians, in addition to storming the city's surroundings with Israeli tanks for the first time since 2002.
The occupation's crimes and systematic destruction operations also resulted in the cutting off of water and electricity, a severe shortage of food and basic needs for children in the Jenin camp, in addition to the suspension of schools and health services, and the destruction of about 498 homes and facilities completely or partially.
The occupation forces escalated the arrest operations, which affected about 187 Palestinians, while dozens were subjected to field investigations, during the ongoing raids that amounted to 336 operations, in addition to 15 air strikes on various targets.
The occupation forces also destroyed the main water line in Bir al-Saada in Jenin, after its rehabilitation, while it continues House burning and main roads bulldozed. The occupation forces are still seizing a number of citizens' homes which have been converted into military barracks, especially in buildings close to and overlooking Jenin camp.
