Sana'a - Saba:
The Emergency Committee in Sana'a Governorate, headed by the Undersecretary of the Services Sector Fares Al-Kahali, discussed the proactive plan to confront the damage of floods during the rainy season, in addition to the measures required to avoid losses.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of concerned officials, they reviewed the priorities of dealing with floods, including examining and cleaning drainage channels, addressing the causes of rockslides, in addition to developing a matrix of needs to confront emergencies during the second half of 1446 AH.
It was approved to form an operations room to coordinate efforts between the concerned authorities and take urgent measures, with the competent offices tasked with reviewing the plan and submitting it within three days.
Undersecretary Al-Kahali stressed the importance of "unifying efforts and collective work" to reduce the damage of floods and ensure full readiness to confront them.
