The Zionist newspaper Haaretz revealed, quoting an Israeli army officer who served in Gaza, that he admitted to using Palestinians as human shields six times a day in Gaza.
The newspaper reported today, Thursday, that the investigation committee created scapegoats to claim it investigated the use of Palestinians as human shields in Gaza.
This is not the first time that the use of Palestinians as human shields has been revealed during the war on Gaza. An investigation conducted by Haaretz previously revealed that the Israeli army systematically used Palestinians as human shields to comb tunnels and buildings in the Gaza Strip.
The Zionist newspaper reported that this was happening with the knowledge of senior army officers, including Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
According to the investigation, enemy soldiers said their lives were more important than the lives of Palestinians, and it was better to use them as human shields.
The investigation revealed that, in some cases, soldiers used children and the elderly as human shields in Gaza.
