Washington - Saba:
UN experts accused the Zionist enemy of committing acts of genocide against the Palestinians by systematically destroying women's healthcare facilities during the Gaza war and using sexual violence as a war strategy.
The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory said on Thursday, according to Reuters: "The enemy authorities partially destroyed the reproductive capacity of Palestinians in Gaza as a group, including by imposing measures aimed at preventing births, which is one of the categories of acts of genocide under the Rome Statute and the Genocide Convention."
The commission added that these measures, in addition to the increase in maternal deaths due to restricted access to medical supplies, constitute the crime against humanity of genocide.
The report accused Israeli security forces of using forced public undressing and sexual assault as part of their standard operating procedures to punish Palestinians. Between October 7, 2023, and January 19, 2025, the enemy launched a genocide in Gaza, leaving more than 160,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
