Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Zionist enemy forces continue their aggression against the city and camp of Jenin for the 53rd consecutive day, amid deteriorating catastrophic humanitarian conditions and the closure of schools and health services in the camp.
The media committee in Jenin camp said in a statement on Friday that the effects of the brutal aggression continue to cast a shadow over more than 20,000 Palestinians displaced from Jenin camp as a result of the military operations of the enemy forces.
This represents approximately 90 percent of the camp's population who have been forcibly displaced.
It added that "during the holy month of Ramadan, the residents of Jenin camp face a severe shortage of food and basic necessities for children, coinciding with the continued water and electricity outages."
The committee noted in its statement that Israeli tanks, which stormed Jenin and its camp for the first time since 2002, continue to carry out acts of sabotage and raids, alongside bulldozers and military vehicles.
It stated that the Israeli aggression on Jenin and its camp resulted in the martyrdom of 36 Palestinians, two of whom were shot by Palestinian security forces.
It noted that 512 homes and facilities were completely or partially damaged in Jenin camp, while Israeli forces arrested approximately 202 citizens, in addition to subjecting dozens to field investigations.
The media committee explained that the raids and incursions carried out by Israeli soldiers extended to approximately 473 homes, in addition to 15 airstrikes since the beginning of the aggression on Jenin and its camp.
The committee called for support for the displaced residents of Jenin, efforts to lift the siege imposed on the city and camp, and to confront the brutality of the Israeli enemy and the war of extermination it is waging against Palestinians and their property.
