Toluca defeated Puebla 3-0 in a match held today, Saturday, in the twelfth round of the Mexican Football League.
Toluca's goals were scored by Jesús Gallardo in the 15th minute, João Paulo Dias in the 57th minute, and Alexis Veiga, who added the third goal from a penalty kick in the 62nd minute.
With this victory, Toluca raised its score to 24 points, consolidating its position in third place, two points behind leaders León. Puebla's score remained at eight points, remaining in sixteenth place in the standings.
