Tulkarm-Saba:
On Saturday, the Zionist enemy forces forced the remaining residents of the Hanoun Square neighborhood in Tulkarm refugee camp to evacuate their homes by force, amid threats and warnings to arrest anyone present at the scene.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the enemy forces raided the homes in the Hanoun Square neighborhood and forced the residents to leave under threat. They gave them only five minutes to leave.
They noted that one of the soldiers informed them that bulldozers and tanks would be brought into the area. In a related development, infantry units deployed extensively in and around the camp's alleys, pursuing Palestinian citizens as they attempted to leave their homes and collect their basic necessities.
Palestine Red Crescent Society crews assisted the displaced as they evacuated the camp, particularly the sick and elderly, amidst the difficult humanitarian conditions created by the ongoing aggression on the city and its two camps.
Zionist enemy forces also raided a number of homes in various neighborhoods of the camp, including Qaqun and Abu al-Foul, breaking down their doors and causing extensive damage.
They continued to fire sound bombs to terrorize residents. Zionist forces seized more homes inside the camp, converting them into military barracks and sniper positions.
Tulkarm camp has been witnessing an ongoing Zionist aggression for 48 days, resulting in widespread displacement. Approximately 12,000 Palestinian citizens, including women, children, the elderly, and the sick, were forcibly displaced from the camp and sought refuge in shelters or the homes of relatives in the city, its suburbs, and the countryside.
